Then the icing on the cake, at the end of 2020 opening this online store!
Wow what a fabulous ride 2020 was!
Now doing a full circle and bringing it all together in one place. Starting a new blog on this site, where we can share all our new adventures.
What's ahead for 2021 and beyond? Lots of interaction from you guys and girls we hope. Past are the days of writing blogs thinking I am thinking to myself, now we want lots of feedback and updates from you all!
The last fish I (Karen) caught in 2020 was a Golden Grunter, well that is what we called it. When I shared the photo on Facebook pages asking for others opinions for what it is named, we got a very mixed bag response, more to the point LOTS of interaction! That is what I am after for 2021, hearing more from you all!

POSITIVE FISHING BRAG MAT COMPETITION
The 1st of January 2021 was the first day of our new PF Competition, which will run until the 28th of February, so plenty of time for you to get your mat and get in the draw to win $300!
It all started with the release of our NEW totally unique to Positive Fishing Brag Mat. I'd had some trouble getting what I wanted printed on a brag mat, first printing company couldn't work out I wanted our PF logo reaching from 55cm to 80cm, this is the legal keeping size for Barramundi in Western Australia (where we live). They kept moving the circle! But everything happens for a reason, and after a lot of searching I found a SA company, who would not only print what I wanted, but helped me created the ultimate, totally unique Brag Mat. We now have the Positive Fishing smile logo where I want it 55-80cm, but sitting nicely in the middle, so it still looks awesome if you are not in WA. With our own Barramundi photo, fish caught by Karen, photographed by Johnno. You will not see this anywhere else! All on a long 130cm mat, idea for catching those big girls soon!!! All on a wide, strong mat with super bright colours. I love the brightness of this mat...I love everything about this mat! It is my pride and joy! To celebrate how much I LOVE this new PF brag mat I started, very spontaneously, a One Metre Barra Competition. I simply put a message out saying the first person to send me a photo of a one metre barramundi on one of these new mats, I will send two matching Stubby Holders. It was just a bit of fun to get the word out we had a new mat finally, and to get some interaction from local fisho's. It worked! I got a lot of interaction about how it's not fair, not everyone can catch Barramundi where they live.
Competition TWO was born!
It's taken even longer for me to find SHIRTS and designs I am happy with. But finally we have (still at the printers), found an Australian Made, photo printed FISHING SHIRT!! Once I finally approved the final final proof (there were a few changes to final proof) the shirts went to print.
To help advertise we have new SHIRTS on there way, we created a new POSITIVE FISHING BRAG MAT COMPETITION! One that EVERYONE can enter! All you have to do is get a new Positive Fishing Brag Mat, catch a fish, take photo of fish on brag mat, send photo to us! We started the new Competition with the winning photo to be picked by Johnno, winner getting a new PF FISHING SHIRT!! Shirts valued at $80, due the end of January.
BUT WAIT THERE IS MORE!! IT GROWS!!
Local business couple, Peter & Leah Burns from Hutchinson real estate, contacted us to say they love the work we are doing promoting Derby and the West Kimberley so much they want to donated $300 cash to help the competition! WOW. Just WOW!! Feeling the love, totally over the moon, and super excited to see where this takes the competition. We are looking forward to LOTS of interactions from EVERYONE! This competition is open globally! Anyone with a Positive Fishing Brag Mat can enter!
